Our hall was designed with future generations in mind. We wanted to create a space where children could begin their educational journey in a safe and nurturing environment. So it is wonderful to see Little Poppins Pre-school opens its doors for the first time!

Since opening our doors a year ago, our community hall has become a bustling hub of activity and a cherished gathering place for residents of all ages. It’s been a remarkable first year, filled with memories, milestones, and moments that have truly brought our community closer together. On Thursday 6th June this year hundreds of beacons will be lit in villages, towns and cities across the country at 9.15pm to represent the light of peace that emerged from the darkness of war. But why do we light beacons.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Join us to commemorate this significant event of with Miss Holliday & The Swingtones from 6.30 on Thursday June 6th. Adults - £10. Children - £5. Bring you own picnic or add a fish & chip supper for ann extra £7.

On Sunday April 7th the hall will hold its first Spring Fair. It will be a day to celebrate many things, not least of all the arrival of spring after a particularly grey and miserable winter. But it will also provide a day to celebrate once again the fabulous achievement of a community who set about bringing their dream of their own village hall to reality through hard work, determination and tenacity.

Spring is the perfect time to start those changes that you’ve been thinking about since the New Year. Perhaps your goal is to get fitter or learn a new hobby. Or it might be simply to get out and about more and meet new people. We have some fabulous ways to get fit and healthy at Painters Forstal Community Hall so why not come along and join in?

September is the perfect month to indulge in nutritious and delicious seasonal produce.
